Your Job as a Damage Technician/Mechanic

As a damage technician at Busspart, you are a key resource, as our customers expect both professional service and exceptional precision. You have experience and a strong interest in working with body and damage repairs on heavy vehicles such as buses. Our assignments are varied, involving many challenges and a wide range of tasks.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform damage repairs on bodywork, chassis, and interiors

• Work with various materials such as steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and plastic

• Actively document and manage work orders for customers and insurance companies

• Surface and pull straightening, as well as welding in different materials

• Disassembly, reassembly, preparation for painting, sanding, and filling

• Install onboard equipment and systems

Who You Are

You are goal-oriented, organized, and independent, with experience in troubleshooting and repairs performed with high quality. As a representative of Busspart, you are attentive, service-minded, and comfortable building relationships. Since some assignments may be carried out at customer locations, overnight stays may be required. You thrive in a varied work environment, are accustomed to a fast-paced workload, and value teamwork with your colleagues.

Busspart follows collective agreements, meaning your salary and benefits, such as pension, align with industry standards.

Other Requirements

• Education in heavy vehicles or similar industry experience in damage repairs

• Proficiency in welding, filling, and straightening

• Computer skills

• Category D driver’s license

• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
