Busspart – A Sustainable and Environmentally Conscious Player in the Transport Industry

We adhere to ISO 14001 standards, use sustainable raw materials, and work with partners who share our values. Through local efforts and renewable energy sources, we strive to meet high environmental standards.

We are aware that painting is one of the processes with the greatest impact. Therefore, investing in painting facilities that meet or exceed regulatory requirements is a given for us. We see it as a competitive advantage to create safe and secure workplaces, ensuring that both our customers and employees can feel confident in the footprint Busspart leaves behind.

Busspart is committed to minimizing environmental impact and promoting sustainable development. Workshops and manufacturing companies like Busspart generate significant amounts of waste, which can negatively affect the environment. The frequent use of chemicals in our various processes creates both waste and potential risks for our workers and the environment. Caring for our employees and the planet drives us to continuously invest in more sustainable and less toxic processes.

Product development & ISO14001

Busspart prioritizes sustainable product development, the reuse of spare parts, and limiting the use of environmentally hazardous chemicals. Our chemical choices are made through evaluation and analysis, always keeping environmental considerations top of mind. We comply with the REACH regulation and ensure that VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) levels are minimized.

ISO 14001 entails both short- and long-term efforts in quality and environmental management. We impose the following precautionary measures on ourselves:

  1. The business shall, whenever possible, use chemical products that do not contain organic solvents.
  2. The business shall continuously work to replace and reduce the use of chemical products containing organic solvents with alternatives that do not contain organic solvents.
  3. Chemical products and hazardous waste shall be managed in such a way that spills or leaks cannot reach sewers or contaminate soil, surface water, or groundwater.
  4. Chemical products and liquid hazardous waste shall be stored on impervious surfaces and contained. If stored outdoors, containment must be equipped with a roof or weather protection. The containment’s collection capacity must at least match the largest container’s volume plus 10% of the total volume of other containers.
  5. All waste generated in the business shall be managed to promote reuse or recycling, including separating different types of waste.
  6. Cleaning and maintenance of workshop premises shall be carried out in such a way that paint, varnish, and metal residues cannot enter the stormwater system.
  7. Water discharged from the business to the stormwater system must meet the municipality’s stormwater guidelines at the connection point to the network.
  8. Noise from the business shall be minimized, with special attention to work conducted outside regular office hours, such as evenings and weekends.
  9. The business shall monitor, continuously revise, and, where possible, improve energy consumption and choose electricity sources based on their sustainability credentials.
