Busspart joins Mobilis Group

Equip Capital has agreed to acquire a majority stake in the Busspart Group. The original owners will remain invested in the company alongside Equip Capital and Busspart’s management.

Busspart is a leading Nordic provider of bus maintenance services, specializing in pre-delivery inspection, parts, repairs and installations across the full bus lifecycle. Founded in 2016, Busspart is headquartered in Råde, Norway, with several workshops and operations in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. 

Equip Capital is a Nordic private equity company based in Oslo. Together with Busspart, Equip Capital also owns Shift Electric Mobility and Vest Agentur/Vest Service (Vest), bringing the three companies together under Mobilis Group (Mobilis), the leading Nordic group of independent providers of services to the bus sector, covering pre-delivery inspection (PDI), products and installation, service and maintenance, body and paint, and mechanical work across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

Busspart, Shift and Vest will continue to operate under their own names, with their respective teams, customer relationships and local market positions. For employees, customers, suppliers and partners of all three companies, day-to-day business continues as usual.

Combined, Busspart, Shift and Vest generated approximately NOK 340 million in revenue in 2024, growing to approximately NOK 422 million in revenue in 2025 – a revenue growth of around 24%.

Equip Capital intends to continue growing Mobilis Group through further acquisitions of independent service providers in the Nordic bus sector, building on the platform now established through Busspart, Shift and Vest.

For Bussparts customers, suppliers and partners, the business will continue as usual. Busspart will maintain its current strategy, operations and strong focus on supporting its customers and OEM partners across the Nordic region.

Bjørn Arild Martinsen will continue as CEO of Busspart Group and will invest in the company alongside Equip Capital and the original Busspart investors.
